New Testament – Epistles
Ephesians, read as [i-FEE-zhuhnz], is a theological treasure trove. New believers can come here to gain a solid grasp on the foundation of the Faith. “Seasoned” Christians can always take a deeper dive and receive yet another insight into how to glorify God with their lives. It is for that reason, one of the most quoted Books in the Bible.
You will be surprised by how many “Christian ideas” come from Ephesians: adoption to sonship of God; opening the eyes of our hearts; Christ at the right hand of God; salvation through grace; breaking the dividing wall; foundation of God’s house; confirmation of gentile salvation; how wide-long-high-deep is Christ’s love; beyond what we ask or think; five-fold ministry; old vs new self; speaking truth; don’t grieve the Holy Spirit; warnings against sins; honoring parents; and about anger, marriage, wedding, body of Christ, and armor of God, and many more. I mean, you cannot run out of reasons to read Ephesians again.
