If you have just started the journey of interpretation, you are well-advised to employ a fewer number of words in order to convey your idea to the audience. Should you achieve a higher level of competence, you will have greater freedom to elaborate and decorate your speech, through which the audience may experience better emphasis and greater emotional resonance. There is a spectrum of how much or little you may want to simplify your speech. The priority should be placed upon completion, after which is accuracy, after which is articulation.
